Below are a list of events/tours, either planned by Allez Prestwich or events/sportives/audaxes that a group of us may be doing albeit not as an ‘club ride’ per se.

Plans for 2017

May 21st 2017 – Cycle for Amy [Sportive]

A number of the Allez P gang are taking part in the annual Cycle for Amy charity event. Naturally, we’ve decided on the ‘100 Mile Extreme’ option, but other options are available.

Let either Craig Newman or Mark Leigh know if you’d like to come along. Or don’t and just enter and we’ll see you there :)

A great cause that supports Childflight to help provide family holidays to Florida for kids with life threatening diseases. Just by entering you are contributing.

June 4th 2017 – Tour de Manc [Sportive]

A few of our members entered the inaugural Tour De Manc in 2016 and there are quite a few more hoping to do it this year. Please get in touch with us if you’re interested and get your place booked over at Tour De Manc. There are talks of us trying to get a group start time for our club, so will keep you posted if we manage this.

All non-profit and contributing to some great charities.

  1. Hi. Your cycling club sounds good. Never been keen on that too intensive club stuff but yours sounds a but different

I moved to Prestwich from the Peaks a while ago so I know moist of the rides around the Middle part if the peak park but nit do much around here.

When are your next rides coming up?

    1. Hi Brian,

Thanks for the comment and for your interest in the club. Yeah, we pride ourselves on offering something a little different to the more ‘traditional’ club. Mainly that we don’t race and that we’re not too overly concerned about speed. We all enjoy riding but try not to take ourselves too seriously.
Our rides are moderately challenging/challenging but are doable for most people who are halfway fit. We have a really nice bunch of folk who come out.
Our next one is this Saturday, so get yourself down if you’re available? You can see all our rides on the rides page of the site – http://www.allezprestwich.co.uk/rides.

      Cheers,
      Craig – Allez Prestwich
