October’s standard ride sees us revisit an old Allez Prestwich ride we ran up to Winter Hill.
Some good climbs in this ride, including a real steep test at Foxholes just before Winter Hill, then Winter Hill itself before heading out over Sheephouse Lane at Rivington. At approximately 3,700ft of elevation over this distance, it will be a good challenge for all. Read more

The penultimate big ride of the year ploughs the same hilly furrow as its predecessors. Not for the feint of heart or scared of hills. A really challenging route but a complete belter.

There’s a lot of little roads with beautiful scenery on this one, so the rolling green(ish) hills of England should be pleasing enough on the eyes to soothe your aching limbs.

In Mytholm Steeps, you have the joint toughest hill I’ve ever done. Enjoy. At least there are no cobbles, eh?

It’s unlikely I (Craig) will be on this one, so we will need a willing volunteer or two to help manage the ride.

Would suggest lunch stop in Hebden at around the 40 mile mark or you could branch a little further between miles 49 and 50 to head to Todmorden. You won’t have to do Mytholm Steeps on a full belly then.

If you have a GPS device, please download the route so that you can follow it.

Polite request to not ride off of the front if you either do not have the route or you have not studied it.
