## BIG RIDE DISCLAIMER ##
Please note, our big rides are not for the feint hearted and they are really hilly, tough but ultimately enjoyable rides. We have a lunch stop but they are longer, hillier and slightly faster than our standard rides. If you’re unsure then please speak to us and come to a standard ride first. We’re not ones to be too specific about speed but ideally shouldn’t be much slower than around 12mph average around this sort of course, as otherwise they just take way too long. Thank you.
For August’s Big Ride we’ve got something really special for you. It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited and scared about posting a route. Three climbs that feature in some of the toughest climbs in the UK and a couple of brutes that don’t even make the list. Two of the climbs are Allez Prestwich debutants, namely two disgustingly difficult looking climbs in Shibden Wall and Trooper Lane. Before we event get there we’ve done Grains Road, Buckstones Pass AND Scapegoat Hill. Needless to say, this is a real climbers ride and you’ll need to pack your climbing legs and you may as well bring a spare pair while you are at it. Oh, *EDIT* I missed off that we finish off with Cragg Vale :/
Pay particular attention to the disclaimer, as I think this will easily beat the figures of 6,000 ft of climbing as sometimes ridewithgps can be a little off. This will be tough but has the potential to be one of the best rides we’ve done.
Lunch stop will be had but I’ll confirm that later in the week.
Post ride if we have time and anyone fancies it will be at Same Yet Inn.
