This time last year I wrote a similar post. A reflection on the previous years activities and longing glance to the future. To a 2015 that is now in the past. It’s interesting to read that post back and to see how far I/the club have came since then; to see what I achieved and , just as importantly, to see what I missed so I can correct that in future.

Mark Leigh is going to be running a ride for everyone to blow off the Christmas cobwebs. I’ll be down Newmarket at my in laws but I’ll be on the ride in spirit :)
The route heads out towards the Uppermill / Denshaw area and clocks in at just under 45 miles and has the obligatory lumpy terrain. The Cafe stop will be near Uppermill, at around 27 miles in at either Brownhills Visitor Centre or Newbank Garden Centre. Read more
A few of our riders are out for an impromptu spin over Owd Betts tomorrow.
Mark Leigh has asked me to put a quick anouncement out that that anyone is free to join them if they wish.
The ride will start from 09:00 at St Mary’s Flower Park in Prestwich.
Don’t forget, Mark will also be running the Post Christmas Ride (our last ride of 2015) on December 27th. Go over to the rides page to check it out.
